Warning

The 18650 Li-ion battery packs are Industrial rated products. Please follow the directions and

safety instructions that accompany the battery. Improper use may cause the battery to overheat,

explode or cause serious damage to the battery or device it is contained inUse of any Klarus

Product and/or battery implies you have read and understand the risks associated with use and

that you voluntarily assume responsibility of any damage or injury that results from improper use

of the device, power supply or associated accessories

Operation

When the device is OFF

Power button

• Short press for momentary lighting

• Long press for constant lighting

Caution button

• Short press for momentary strobe

• Long press for constant strobe

When the device is ON

Power button

• Short press for INCREASED output

• Fast double-press for STROBE function

• Long press for OFF

Caution button

• Short press for DECREASED output

• Fast double-press for STROBE function

• Long press for SOS function

Strobe and SOS condition: Short press the Power or Caution button to return the device to

normal lighting mode. Long press the Power button to turn the device off

Memory function: When a lighting mode is on for more than 3 seconds, the mode will be

memorized. The device will return to this mode when turned on next

Cautions

• When you first receive the flashlight, please open the battery housing door and connect

the battery DC plug first prior to use

• After replacing the battery, the first time the flashlight is powered on the mode will be at 50%

output. Press the Power or Caution buttons to adjust to the output mode you require

• When using the device at 70% output or higher, the device will automatically switch off when

the battery charge reaches20% of its capacity. To continue using the device with the same

battery, wait 10 minutes and turn it on again. It will then operate at modes 50% output or less

until the battery is completely depleted of its charge

• If using the device at 30% output or less, the device will only use 1 of the 3 LEDs

Charger operation

• Please connect the charger cable to the device prior to switching on the power at the

wall/socket

• When charging is complete, switch off the power at the wall/socket prior to removing the

cable. Take care in removing thecharging cable and do not use excessive force or speed as

this may damage the connections or cable

Charging Indicator

While charging, the LED indicator light on the charger turns red. When charging is complete

the light turns green. We suggest charging for 1 hour more when the light turns green to

maximize battery charge levels, but you should ALWAYS disconnect the charger within

24 hours of starting a recharge

• Standard voltage: 7.4V

If using the device at 50% output, the device will only use 2 of the 3 LEDs

Battery replacement

• Turn the battery housing cover screw counter clock-wise until the housing door can be freely

opened. Disconnect the battery DC plug and take out the battery

• Replace the battery, reconnect the plug and re-secure the housing screw to complete the

replacement, ensuring you do not over-tighten the screw as this can damage the screw and

the housing

Warming

Due to the extreme brightness of this device, do not shine the light directly into

eyes as this may cause irreversible damage.

Usage and Maintenance

• The flashlight's surface will increase in temperature during use, especially during periods of higher

lumen output. The maximum safe operating surface temperature of the flashlight is 60℃ /140 F

• Please fully charge battery before initial use. Included battery is charged to less than 50% as a

safety measure and will not power the flashlight at full specification without charging

• Do not shine light directly into eyes

• Remove battery when stored for extended periods

• Please unscrew the light's body to avoid accidentally switching the light ON when not wanted during

an emergency situation

• Replace and lubricate O-Rings as needed to maintain IPX-8 rating

Warranty

• KLARUS guarantees the flashlight against defects in material and workmanship. Flashlight

products that are found to be defective under normal use within 5 years of the proof of purchase

date will be repaired or replaced without charge

• This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, unreasonable use or product alteration.

Failure to follow the general maintenance directions could result in damage to your flashlight that

may not be covered by the KLARUS warranty

Limited lifetime warranty

If problems develop after 5 years from the date of purchase, KLARUS will charge for parts. The total

repair fee will be assessed according to the cost of the replacement materials. If damage to the light

is substantial, KLARUS will contact the customer via the distributor with a quote. The customer can

then decide whether to proceed with the repairs or not. Freight will be paid by distributor or customer.

Warranty Procedure

• If this flashlight does not perform to the specification, the product will be repaired or replaced as

described above.

• Please contact your original KLARUS dealer for replacement and repairs

• If the warranty issue cannot be resolved by the dealer, please contact KLARUS at

info@klaruslight.com for assistance. Please provide the following information to expedite the

process:

1) List the series number on the light,

2) Include a detailed description identifying the issue, accompanied

by pictures or a short video demonstration if necessary

3) Provide the name and store of the dealer you made the purchase

from; and a copy of the proof of purchase

亮度

档位记忆

在任何照明档位工作超过3秒，记忆当前档位，再开机将进入记忆档位

提示

• 更换电池后，首次开启档位为50%档位，按键增加或递减到期望亮度

• 当70%以上高亮档工作至熄灭时（接近耗完电，实际还有约20%的电量），放置10分钟后，重

新开启，可以以50%以下低亮度档位继续工作一段时间直至彻底耗完电完全不亮（具体时间根

据电池品质及工作档位而定）

• 亮度低于50%后的档位，每降一档，依次会关1个、2个灯，最低亮度时功耗降至最低

• 首次使用本产品，打开电池仓，连接电池DC插头，方可使用

充电操作

• 将充器DC插头与手提灯DC插座接驳，接通电源即开始充电

• 充电完成后拔出充电DC插头即可，避免大力拉扯充电线

充电指示

充电中，充电器指示亮红灯，充电完成后亮绿灯，建议在亮灯后1小时后24小时前拔出充电DC插头

电池更换

当需更换电池时，扭开手提灯后盖螺丝；拔出电池DC插头，取出电池，即可更换

充电注意事项

• 长时间不用手电，请取出电池，以免发生电池漏液

• 长时间存放充电电池，建议每3个月进行一次充放电操作，以延长电池使用寿命

使用及维护

• 手电在使用过程中，手电表面温度在60度以下属于正常情况，请放心使用

• 充电电池出厂时只有50%以下电量，直接使用不能达到最高亮度和正常续航时间，首次使用请

将电池充满

• 为达到最佳防水性能，请定期检查防水O圈的完整性，并请适量涂抹润滑硅脂于防水O圈上以

延长其使用寿命。如O圈损坏，请及时更换原厂O圈以确保您所使用之产品的优异防水性能

• 请勿将手电筒的光线直接照射人类或动物的眼睛

• 长时间不使用手电筒时，请将电池从手电筒中取出，妥善存放

保修

• 15天保换期：自售出之日起15天内，在正常使用情况下，出现产品质量问题，客户可选择更

换新品或修理服务,要求更换时，所换产品应为返修产品同型号同规格的新品；如同型号同规格

的产品停止生产时，则调换不低于原产品性能的同品牌产品

• 5年免费保修期：自售出之日起5年内，用户在正常使用情况下，出现产品质量问题，则享受

免费维修服务

• 终身有限保修：超过5年免费保修时间，提供有偿保修，费用以实际更换材料费用为准，不另

收取人工费用
