Operating Instructions

ThisproductisdesignedspecicallyforNikoncamera’sbatteriesandiscompatiblewith

the following types: EN-EL14/EN-EL14a and EN-EL15. The UNK1 supports charging

batteries in both slots simultaneously. Output current is adjusted automatically

according to input current to reach optimal charging setting. This product shall NOT be

usedwithotherbatteriesnotspeciedinthismanual.

Automatic Current Adjustment

TheUNK1’sactualoutputcurrentdependsonthemaximumpowersuppliedfromthe

USB.Outputcurrentwillgetadjustedbasedonactualpowerbeinginputtedtothe

device.TheUNK1iscapableofoutputting1000mA,increasingitseciencywhile

shortening charging duration.

Battery Status Monitoring

Once the battery is inserted, the UNK1 will proceed with a initial low current test charge

to diagnose battery status. After the diagnosis, battery status will be shown as Good,

Normal or Poor.

Note: Re-insert the battery when “Poor” appears on screen to avoid the odd of poor

battery contact, replace the battery if “Poor” comes up on screen consistently.

Reverse Polarity and Anti-Short Circuit Protection

The UNK1 makes use of the mechanical reverse polarity protection. Inserting

incompatible batteries or incorrect battery installation will prevent the initiation of the

charging process. The error message “EE EE” will come up on the LCD display when a

short circuited battery is installed.

Battery Recovery

The UNK1 will attempt to recover over-discharged batteries when inserting in the

charging slot. Upon successful battery recovery, the entire battery level indicator will

ashtorepresentthatabatteryhasbeensuccessfullyrecovered.

Note: This feature only works with protected batteries.

Precautions

1. The UNK1 is only compatible with Nikon EN-EL14, EN-EL14a and EN-EL15 camera

batteries. Do NOT attempt to charge other batteries

2. Moderate heat from this product is to be expected during the charging process. This

is normal.

3. Operating temperature: -10°to 40°C, storage temperature: -20° to 60° C.

4. Carefully read all labels on the device to ensure batteries are installed correctly.

5. The charger is designed for adults. Use of the charger by kids under age must be

under supervision. Operation, using or cleaning of the charger may NOT be done by

kids aged 8 years or younger.

6. DO NOT leave the product unattended while it is connected to a power supply.

Unplug the product at any sign of malfunction and refer to the user manual.

7. Batteriesofshortlifespanshouldbereplacedassoonaspossible.

8. DO NOT store or use the product in an environment where the temperature

isextremelyhigh/loworchangesrapidly,orinaconnedareawithahigh

temperature.

9. Store the device in ventilated areas. DO NOT uses the device in moist environment

and keep away from any combustible materials.

10. Avoid any shock or impact to the device.

11. DO NOT place any conductive or metal object in the device to avoid short-circuiting

and explosions.

12. Unplug the device when it is not in use.

13. DO NOT disassemble or modify the device as doing so will render the product

warranty invalid. Please refer to the warranty section in the manual for complete

warranty information.

Monitoreo de la salud de la batería

Protección contra polaridad invertida y corto

circuito

El UNK1 utiliza la protección de polaridad inversa. Insertar baterías no compatibles o

instalar las baterías incorrectamente impedirá el inicio del proceso de carga. El mensaje

de error “EE EE” aparecerá en la pantalla LCD cuando una batería haga cortocircuito al

instalarse.

Recuperación de Baterías

El UNK1 tratará de recuperar las baterías sobre descargadas cuando se inserte una en

la ranura de carga. Una vez que la batería ha sido recuperada con éxito, el indicador

entero del cargador parpadeará para indicar que la batería ha sido recuperada.

Nota: Esta característica sólo funciona con baterías protegidas.

Precauciones

1. El UNK1 es compatible únicamente con baterías de cámaras Nikon EN-EL14, EN-

EL14a y EN-EL15, NO intente cargar otras baterías.

2. Es normal esperar un calentamiento moderado del producto durante el proceso de

carga.

3. Temperatura de operación: -10° a 40°C, temperatura de almacenamiento: -20° a

60° C.

4. Lea con atención todas las indicaciones en el dispositivo para asegurarse que las

baterías están correctamente instaladas.

Bedienungsanleitung

Dieses Produkt ist speziell für Nikon Kamera-Akkus, kompatibel mit den Nikon Akkus

EN-EL14/EN-EL14a und EN-EL15. Der UNK1 hat zwei Ladeschächte und kann zwei

Akkus gleichzeitig laden. Der Ausgangsstrom wird automatisch entsprechend dem

Eingangsstrom eingestellt, um ein optimales Ladeergebnis zu erreichen. Das Ladegerät

darf nur mit Akkus verwendet werden, die in dieser Anleitung angegeben sind.

Automatische Ladestromeinstellung

Der tatsächlichen Ausgangsstrom des UNK1 ist abhängig von der maximalen Leistung

derUSB-StromquelleundwirdentsprechenddertatsächlichenLeistungderStromquelle

angepasst. Der UNK1 ist in der Lage mit maximal 1000mA zu laden. Dies erhöht seine

EzienzundverkürztdieLadezeit.

Überwachung der verbleibenden Ladezyklen

Sobald der Akku eingelegt ist, beginnt der UNK1 mit einer anfänglichen Niedrigstrom-

Testladung, um den Akkustatus zu diagnostizieren. Nach der Diagnose wird der

Akkustatus als "Gut", "Normal" oder "Schlecht" angezeigt.

Hinweis: Wenn der Akkustatus als "Schlecht" anzeigt, überprüfen Sie zuerst, ob

der Kontakt des Akku zum Ladegerät optimal ist, da es sich sonst ggf. um eine

Falschmeldung handelt. Entnehmen Sie dazu den Akku und legen Sie ihn erneut in

korrekter Weise ein.

Verpolungsschutz und Schutz vor Kurzschlüssen

Der UNK1 hat einen mechanischen Verpolungsschutz, um das Laden von nicht

kompatiblen oder falsch eingesetzten Akkus zu verhindern. Erscheint im Display die

Fehlermeldung "EE" wurde ein kurzgeschlossener Akku eingesetzt.

Reaktivierung tiefentladener Akkus

Der UNK1 wird versuchen, tiefentladene Akkus, die in den Ladeschacht eingesetzt

wurden, zu reaktivieren.

Hinweis: Diese Funktion funktioniert nur mit geschützten Akkus

Instruction

Le présent chargeur est destiné aux batteries de caméra Nikon de type EN-EL14/ EN-

EL14a et EN-EL15. Il peut faire la charge par port 1 ou port 2. Quand une seule

batterie est connectée, la charge est continue ; Quand il y a deux batteries, la charge

se fait simultanément. Il n'est pas conçu pour fonctionner avec d'autres batteries. Le

courant de sortie est réglé automatiquement en fonction du courant d'entrée pour

atteindre un réglage de charge optimal. Ce produit NE doit PAS être utilisé avec d'autres

batteriesnonspéciéesdanscemanuel

Etat de la batterie

Une fois la batterie insérée, l'ULM9 procédera à une charge initiale de test de courant

faible pour diagnostiquer l'état de la batterie. Après le diagnostic, l'état de la batterie

Protection contre inversion de polarité et court-

circuit

L'UNK1 utilise la protection contre les inversions de polarité. L'insertion de batteries

incompatibles ou l'installation incorrecte de la batterie empêchera le démarrage du

processusdecharge.Lemessaged'erreur"EEEE"apparaîtsurl'écranLCDàl’installation

d'une batterie en court-circuit.

Récupération de la batterie

L'UNK1 tentera de récupérer les batteries déchargées lors de l'insertion dans la fente de

chargement. Après une récupération réussie de la batterie, le témoin de niveau de la

batterie clignote pour indiquer qu'une batterie a été récupérée avec succès.

Note: Cette fonction ne fonctionne qu'avec des batteries avec circuit de protection.
